Getting things started
October 3rd, 2025
Hello, world!
That's what many sites in progress or that are starting say first, wonder why...
It feels weird to me making one of these; my relationship with the internet and its ecosystem has always been on a surface level, at least what encompasses the whole ''web and user'' interaction cycle. I didn't even know a lick of HTML before starting this or what a CSS was, and the only reason I can write and share this right now is because I'm riding off the backbone of amazing people who dedicated their time and effort to make this task way more managable for others and amebas like me.
I'm was not a web maker, and that hasn't change even after creating this... but godDAMN is it cozy on here.
The main idea that compelled me to start this project was to have a side corner all to myself; a small cove that'd compel me to write more and expand both my topics and ranhge before the delimiations of analysis, an area that I wholeheartly love, but even entertaining the idea of calling myself a critic would feel disingenous. I do not know what I am, fully, and until then, I'm a guy that writes.
And now, I'm a guy that writes AND thinks adding lil details to a blog is super cute and fun! I'm getting a lot out of toying with more basic, stream lined tools and making this whole place feel as... me as it can be. Is it cornyHEEEELL YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG. Do I careHEEEEEELL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I do not know how much reach this place will have, nor do I care; it exists as it is, a space to upload thoughts laid down or yet to be written, mostly about the gaming medium, but that can finally make me share that same passion and willingless to write with more narrative oriented endeavors. Thought pieces are gonna take prominence at first, but who knows how I'll look back on this post a year or two from now. Hell, I may even use this as a space to share my future trasnlation related works, of which I wish I could have more to show but alas, I'm a uni student with a lot of school work to do and vbery few actual work. Story of everyone's lifes.
There are plenty paths ahead of me even in such a small project like this, and if it becomes a mirror of where I go to from here, then I'm not planning on abandoning it anytime soon.
Now, if you excuse me, the Cove is barely in order.
